Sports Pitch Infill Supply & Installation
The correct infill is essential to the performance, safety and longevity of any artificial sports surface. Whether your pitch uses silica sand, SBR rubber crumb or another specialist infill, maintaining the correct levels helps your surface perform as it was designed, while protecting your investment for years to come.

Infill plays a vital role in supporting the carpet fibres, keeping them upright and preventing premature wear caused by excessive fibre movement. It also contributes to key playing characteristics such as shock absorption, ball bounce, ball roll and player traction, ensuring the surface continues to meet the expectations of players and governing bodies. As infill levels reduce through regular use, weather conditions and migration around high-wear areas such as goal mouths and penalty spots, the carpet fibres become exposed, increasing the risk of fibre damage, inconsistent play and accelerated surface deterioration.

During every Free Site Survey, our experienced team measures the exposed pile height across multiple areas of your pitch and compares this against the manufacturer's recommended infill depths. This allows us to accurately determine whether your surface requires a simple top-up, localised infill replacement or more extensive remedial work. Following our inspection, we provide a detailed recommendation and a no-obligation quotation tailored to your facility.

Where sand or rubber infill has become contaminated with organic matter, dust or fine particles, simply adding more infill is rarely the most effective solution. Contamination can restrict drainage, reduce playing performance and prevent the infill from functioning correctly. In these cases, we may recommend our specialist rejuvenation service, which cleans and redistributes the existing infill before introducing fresh material where required, helping to restore performance while extending the overall lifespan of the surface.

We offer the supply and professional installation of a wide range of sports pitch infills using specialist spreading and brushing equipment to ensure an even, consistent finish. For facilities that carry out their own routine maintenance, we also provide a supply-only service, making it easy to purchase smaller quantities of sand or SBR rubber for topping up high-wear areas between scheduled maintenance visits.

In addition to synthetic sports surfaces, we also supply and install specialist materials for clay and shale tennis courts, helping clubs maintain consistent playing conditions throughout the season.
By maintaining the correct infill levels, sports facilities can improve playability, enhance player safety, protect manufacturer warranties and significantly extend the service life of their artificial surface; reducing the need for costly repairs or premature replacement.
